Make Milky Kashmiri Tea At Home


Pink Kashmiri tea is a traditional tea beverage from Kashmir. It is also known as “Noon Chai” It is made from same tea leaves as green tea. This is full of taste and nutrients as it can be accompanied by nuts and dry fruits and made from green tea that is a powerful anti-oxidant. So you must try it out.


  • 6 cups Water 
  • 2 liter Milk
  • 1 liter Fresh Cream  
  • Green Tea Leaves 4tsp.
  • Cardamom powder or seeds
  • 1-2 tsp. of baking soda 
  • 6 tsp. ground pistachio
  • 6 tsp. ground almonds
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar/Honey     
  •  Method:
  •  Take 6 cups of water in a large pan. Add cardamom seeds or powder in this water.
  •  Add tea leaves and slat in it.
  •  Then add baking soda to this water and bring to boil reduce heat and simmer briskly for 4-5 minutes.
  • Boil this water until it reduces to half of its quantity means it remains only 3 cups of water.
  • When it is still boiling pour in it about 2-3 cups of cold/chilled water.
  • Bring to boil and simmer for 4-5 minutes. . 
  • Boil the milk with ground cardamom in a separate pan over low heat. 
  • Pour prepared tea water in the milk. 
  • Bring to boil, Remove from heat and pour into cups. 
  • Pour 1 tablespoon of cream in each cup.
  • Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of crushed pistachio/almonds over it for garnishing.
  • Now you can serve this pink tea.
